This tutorial goes a bit more in depth than what most people would do for your every day comic, but the techniques included therein may interest you, especially if you are someone who usually works in grayscale looking to colorize your work. This alternative coloring technique uses adjustment layers and masks instead of hand brushing the color. (Not as scary as it sounds.)
